Why nail technicians choose Nail Creation as their salon brand
Nail Creation is a Dutch nail brand with its own lab and factory. We control the whole chain, from the first tests to the product on your desk.
- In-house research and development: our R&D team develops and tests every UV gel and gel polish.
- Production: we manufacture all our products in our own factory in the Netherlands.
- Consistency: the same viscosity, curing times and colours with every reorder.
- Made for salon performance: strong adhesion, smooth self-levelling application and flexible, durable wear.
- 30+ years of experience: since 1993, we have developed nail products for professionals in over 20 countries.

Why it’s important to know what you are working with
Ingredient transparency helps you choose the right products, answer client questions and give useful information if an allergic reaction ever occurs.
A professional nail brand should make this information available:
- Full ingredient list (INCI) on every product
- Curing instructions, including lamp type and curing time
- Product compatibility, so you know which products work together as one system
- Safety information and regulatory compliance with EU cosmetics regulation
Because Nail Creation develops and produces its products in-house, we can provide you with these details.
HEMA and Di-HEMA in gel nail products: why they are linked to allergies
HEMA (2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) is a small, reactive monomer that helps gel bond to the nail. Di-HEMA trimethylhexyl dicarbamate is a related monomer with a larger molecule. HEMA is one of the acrylates most often linked to allergic contact dermatitis. In the EU, nail products containing HEMA or Di-HEMA may only be sold for professional use, with an allergy warning on the label.

TPO in UV gels and the EU TPO ban
Since 1 September 2025, TPO (trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide) may no longer be used in cosmetic products sold in the EU, including UV gels and gel polish. This photoinitiator, which starts the curing reaction under UV or LED light, is classified as toxic. All Nail Creation UV gels and gel polish comply with the EU prohibition of TPO.
Read more about the EU TPO ban on UV gelsWhy your technique matters as much as the nail product
No UV gel or gel polish can rule out an allergy. Most exposure comes from repeated skin contact with uncured nail products and from incomplete curing. Your technique matters as much as the products you choose.

Every nail product sold in the EU has to meet the same cosmetics rules. Those rules decide which ingredients are allowed and how products must be labelled. They change regularly, when TPO was banned in 2025, salons across Europe had to check and replace their stock.
At Nail Creation we track these changes for you. When the rules change, our R&D adapts and tests the formulas, so you can keep working with products that meet the latest requirements.

Nail Creation develops and produces all its UV gels and gel polishes in its own factory in the Netherlands. The company has produced professional nail products in-house since 1993.
Are Nail Creation gels TPO-free?
Yes. All Nail Creation UV gels and gel polishes are TPO-free and comply with the EU prohibition of TPO, which has applied to cosmetic products since 1 September 2025.
Do Nail Creation formulas contain HEMA?
No. Nail Creation UV gel and gel polish formulas are free from HEMA. HEMA is not banned in the EU, but it may only be used in professional nail products with an allergy warning on the label.
